  • Yes! The lodge is completely self contained with everything you will need for your stay. From high quality linens, bathroom essentials and fully equipped chefs kitchen. All you will need to bring is your food, drinks and sense of adventure!

  • The lodge is exclusively booked for up to eight people. There are four joining suites that can be in a king or twin share option.

  • Our shearers quarters accommodation can sleep up to 20 people. There are seven basic rooms with a combination of singles, bunks and one double bed. No linens ae provided. You will need to bring sheets, pillows, quilts, sleeping bags etc.

  • Rose cottage is in the township of Blinman, 15km north of the station. It has a queen room and a room with two singles. This is an original miners cottage so space is scarce! It still has a full kitchen, lounge and bathroom but unfortunately we do not offer laundry services at this time.

  • Unfortunately we have no mobile service on the property. We do offer free high speed internet so mobiles and devices can use wifi calling.

    Please let us know if you would like us to restrict this during your stay if you are looking for an ‘unplugged’ experience.

  • Bedding: sheets, pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, towels (Mattresses and mattress protectors, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels provided)

    • Toiletries (Some toilet paper provided, shower body wash & hand wash provided)

    • Food (Two fridges provided)

    • Hot water bottles in the winter!

    Please be aware that Gum Creek Station runs on a solar powered system for all of our electricity. The quarters has power outlets in main living and kitchen areas but bedrooms do not have access to power points. If for medical reasons you need power to your bedroom please contact us prior to arrival.

    We kindly ask that you limit the amount of high power consumption appliances that you bring with you. (slow cookers, blow heaters, hair dryers, coffee machines etc.)

Booking Terms And Conditions

  1. No firearms, chainsaws or motorbikes are allowed.

  2. Respect native animals and their habitats. Animals are to be observed only from the distance the animal chooses. Animals are not to be bothered in any way or fed with any foods, this includes stock and dogs.

  3. Speed limit of 15km/hour is to be adhered to at all times for safety of guests and wildlife.

  4. Children are to be supervised at all times and it is the sole responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure they do not disturb environment, wildlife or other guests. Children are not to play in sheds or stock yards. This is important for their safety.

  5. Please keep to tracks at all times when driving. Do not drive vehicles on steep tracks during or after rain to help prevent erosion. Cars to be parked and driven only in designated areas.

  6. Please place all litter and recycling in appropriate bins.

  7. Only paid for guests stay overnight.

  8. Signage around the property should be adhered to.

  9. Please report any damage/breakage prior to departure.

  10. Other guests are to be respected at all times, (noise levels etc)

  11. Any persons in breach of the above may be asked to vacate the premises immediately with no refunds offered. No correspondence will be entered into.

  12. Smoking is not allowed

  13. Hosts ask that the premises be left in an acceptably clean state resulting from normal use. Extra cleaning will be charged at $30.00 per hour. Our rates simply do not cover scrubbing of fridges, ovens, microwaves, removing countless stains etc. BBQ's and ovens should be left clean, ready for next person to use.

  14. The operators take no responsibility for visitors personal safety or personal property and the operators will accept no claims in any manner with regards to any loss or personal injury whilst on the premises.
